I swear, My MIL hates me....

I swear, My MIL hates me....

We went there last night and she's showing me the wedding frame she made w/ all the various wedding pics (nice pics) then she says 'and this one I am going to blow up and put in the living room' it is a HORRIBLE picture of me, it's just my head, I have like 20 chins in it, I am making a stupid face (like I am going to sneeze), I have red eye (she said 'look how pretty, your eyes are pink') and it is so close that you can see how bad my skin was that day! I show it to DH and he even LAUGHED at how bad it was! I begged her NOT to do anything with it or show anyone but she said 'No, you look beautiful!! I am going to blow this up REAL BIG!!' Great....

I don't think she hates you..she's probably just blind. So you have to search your proofs for a real bad shot of MIL and on her next birthday when you have a party, you can blow it up and make it the 'guest book' - people can sign in and leave her birthday wishes right next to her ugly picture. LOL

LOL - I would feel the same way. Why don't you tell her that you were already having a special picture of you blown up for her and put into a frame so that won't be necessary
