I sent out my invitations 2 weeks ago and out of 83 invitations I've only gotten back 14 responses. I know everyone isn't going to respond immediately, but now I'm paranoid that people didn't get the invitations or that they are waiting to send them back because they aren't coming. I did not expect this part of wedding planning to be this stressful.

I got a lot back in the beginning but now its slowing down and it gets annoying. All the people i'm not sure about didn't respond. Sad when you see an empty mailbox...lol

id have to say that RSVPs was the only thing that stressed me out! the no replys, the people who only wanted to give verbal responses, the ones who thought they didnt need to rsvp and those that sent it in late..so yeah, expect some of that! Just take a breath and realize that you do have some time, give someone a call that you havent heard from that you know would have responded and see if they got it..if so the others are probably just slacking! lol

People definitely wait until the last minute. When it got closer to the RSVP date that was when I started asking people if they got their invite.

This was one of the most stressful parts for me, so I feel your pain. More stressful as it got closer and had to call people to ask if they were coming. Some people didn't even return the already stamped RSVP... and just texted me 'coming'.....It's a big pet peeve of mine!!!!

What is your rsvp date? I just sent mine out yesterday and have an RSVP date of August 1st. I purposely didn't want too much time in between when they received the invites and the date for the response so I wouldn't go too nuts, haha!

People suck! This is the worst part of the whole wedding process. Everyone waits to the last time or you have to chase them down.

My RSVP date is 8/18. I gave everyone 2 months because I have a lot of people from out of state so I wanted to make sure they had plenty of time to book rooms or make travel arrangements.
As for chasing people down, I am NOT looking forward to that part. I feel like I'm begging people to come by asking them again but I know it will have to be done. UGH!

We had some people get their invites over a week after we sent them! It was very odd... we've been getting a steady stream but our rsvp date is friday and we are still missing a bunch. Funny thing is people who didn't rsvp made hotel reservations. I'm taking that as a yes!
