how vendors STALK this website!! I posted a comment about my opinion about a venue (I won't say which one, but it was all good things) and they emailed me saying 'thanks for the kind words.'
I felt like writing back 'I didn't write it for you, I wrote it for the person asking for opinions!'
IDK I just think it's kinda weird...

My favorite is when a vendor I've never heard of writes to me as if I contacted them first and opens with 'thank you for your inquiry'.

I posted about two vendors asking for opinions becuase we couldn't decide which company to go with. So I wanted feedback on them. One of the vendors then emailed me regarding the post.....

Yeah but then they'd just create bride accounts anyway. You don't even need to be a member to see the forums, so it wouldn't do anything. 'Off Topic' is the only one thats locked

Yes and no. As a vendor, I am sure they want to know what others are saying and how to improve their business
This is like being anywhere else- you still have to watch what you say

I disagree- I think they are just trying to keep up on what people are saying about them. I think it's savvy to use comments from here to better their business. And they were just thanking you for the kind words. But that's JMO!

a few years back i recognized one of the 2010 brides from her pic when i was dress shopping. i went up to her and said'are you so and so' we talked for a bit
she said she recognized me to but was to shy.
guees im weird.

If they want to look at the forums that's fine... they pay for it so do what you gotta do
I just thought it was weird to get emailed... not FM mailed on here, my personal email that I think I left with them (or maybe it's on here, I don't remember).
