So I just found out that 2 of my FH's friends recently got engaged- one is getting married in Nov 07 and I'm getting all pissy that it is right before mine. I never thought I would be like this. Is this normal? I haven't heard when the other friend is getting married, but I'm sure it will before our's as well.
I know that we had to pick the end of 07 because of our professions (I will hopefully have a teaching job and FH's coaches football), but I'm still upset. Ugghhh. Never thought I'd be this way.

Unless they are in your bridal party or in your of FHs family. . .I wouldn't get too upset about it. But if it is either of the above then yeah, I'd be pissed too.

It's so nice to finally have some sympathy/empathy (whatever you want to call it!) FH thinks I'm crazy and being all bridezilla about my friends wedding - I wanted to the focus to be on me too! Guess I'm kind of a brat as well!

I feel the same way too!! My friend isn't even engaged yet but she is planning her wedding for a month before mine!!

You guys are making me feel bad!!!! One of my friends (mava61) is getting married 6/1 she got engaged a month before I did, I orginally wanted Mid May but did not want to book before she did, so we did it 3 weeks after.

I was JUST called bridezilla last night!!! My FH doesn't understand why it bothers me that all of a sudden, certain couples are getting engaged when they had no intentions on doing it before I did....I sound like a brat, I know...but, hey...stop stealing my thunder!!!!! LOLOLOL
