I think we have an ant problem - help!

We just moved into our new home and there are big black ants all over the kitchen (and a few stragglers elsewhere).

So I moved out the refrigerator (and there was a 1/2 eaten piece of pizza), moved out the stove (all kinds of goodies under there) and climbed up on the counter and found open gummy bears and hersey Kisses on top of the cabinets! EWWWWW...so at least I know why I have ants.

I scrubbed the entire kitchen from head to toe, layed ant traps and sprayed indoor/outdoor pesticide around the entire house inside and out.

Well there is no longer an army, but I still get a few. Has anyone had this problem? or have any advice to make sure they don't come back.

Get an exterminator to come in and professionally treat the house. If you need a reccomendation... call these guys.

Thanks. I just left a message. I live in Westchester - not sure if they service that area. I'll let you know.

Ok I found them to be cheaper than other exterminators I found in the yellow pages. But they definitely helped me out. My apartment has been 10x better since they serviced it.

I also am on a 'monthly plan' with them. They come every month... and when you do it monthly... the treatments after the first month are REALLY cheap.

I think im just gonna have them come every other month now cause my problems have really improved!
