FH wanted a dressier watch so I bought FH this watch for a wedding gift and now my coworkers are telling me it is not really a dress watch. I was so excited but now I am second guessing. Opinions please

i think its great! why wouldnt it be dressy enough? ive never heard of a leather band being dressier, but i think this is a great watch to receive as a wedding day gift.

I think it is a wonderful present!!!! It def looks dressy enough to me but if you want to cover all your bases, you can tell FH that you can have a leather band fitted for the watch too. I wouldnt get yourself too stressed over it I think you did a great job.

I think it's dressy. It is a nice watch - do not second guess yourself. Pople have different tastes. My husband's dressy rolex is no dressier than this!

I bought it in the Broadway mall at Zales. I got a great deal on. The salesman took over $170 off of the cost.

WOW!!! That is a great deal...and I really feel the silver bands are more dressy than the leather ones!

I think it's a great gift...and you nailed it on the head when you said that your FH doesn't prefer leather bands...then why in God's name would you ever buy him one? Because society dictates that you should if your intention was to give a 'dress watch'? Bag that! I think it's a beautiful gift, and don't let anyone else make you think otherwise!

OMG ignore those catty b*tches you work with! It's a beautiful watch!!! And I think he'll love it. What's so great about it is it's versatility. He can wear it with a nice suit, a pair of jeans or a tux. Well done! I think it's an ideal choice.
