But I am not! Narrowing down a suprise vacation is HARD!

I would but I am planning the trip for Jan 06..after the winter you guys had this year there is no way my SOuthern, Mild weather lovin's arse is going there in the snow.

I am trying to plan a surprise for DH's 30th birthday...trying to book it, pack him, ask for his time off ect. alll of it and not telling him and let him figure it out when we get on the ship.
After he is over the intial shock and after we are settled into our room...we will then go to dinner where his parents, my parents and our siblings and their spouses will be waiting!

What about the cruise on Carnival I think that hits a whole bunch of differnt islands. DH went on one before me that went to PR, St Thomas, St something else and about 2 other islands?

I wish!
One of his family members requested it not be Carnival

Another one requested it not be to certain islands

Another requested that the departure port only be one that is in FL

and Lastly, out of four weeks in Jan, another one requested that it not be two certain weeks.

That is so exciting! What a special thing you are planning. I'm sure that no matter where you go he will love it!! And a cruise - is it possible to go wrong?! My friend swears by Royal Carribean - unfortunately I've never been on a cruise so I'm not of much help.

you are in FL , right? So doesn't the port haev to be in FL, in order to trick your DH? Unless you surprise him by driving to the airport

If Carnival is the only one that fits your requirements, just go with that. You can't please everybody.

Royal Carribeean is in my searches...Although between all the lines nad the dates and the ports ect. I have been able to narrow it down to...

Jewel of the Seas

Don't know if those are good weeks for you, but it is similar to the cruise on went on from PR & those are some good destinations. You get to go different pacles, besides just other parts of FL & Mexico.
There is also one that stops in Belize--which from pictures, seems gorgeous.

Is there particular port in FL that is better for you?

Tampa is better for Me.
Ft. Laud is better for my parents and one person is requesting that we leave out of Miami!
LOL! So silly...I at least got about 4 of the 25 options off my list.
I guess I will just need to chip away.
I agree Belize looks AMAZING, I would love if it works out that is a plce we could visit.

I love Royal Caribbean. You will get more choices from Miami. They have those awesome ships like Explorer of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, the Mariner of the Seas is from Port Canaveral (Orlando area), Jewel of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas...

WO OHOOO I am down to 18 now!

You don't have to go, you coudl go to the buffet insteead. We did that the 1st night, b/c although it wasnt' a formal night we didnt' really get there in enough time to change for the early dinner. The other days we jstu had breakfast & a post-excursion snack there.

I thought the formal nights were fun though.

As for the departure port, I see why everyone is driving you crazy!
I'd say Tampa, b/c you are the one that has to trick your DH!
