FH got his letter last week for the FDNY!!!!!!!!!

He starts the academy on Aug 6th. I'm so so proud of him. His uncle was a Chief and passed away 9/11 and he's being honored with his badge number.

Send out a ::woot woot:: to my FH!!!!!!!!!!!

congrats ... one of my FH's best friends (and groomsman) has been in the FDNY since January, he waited for about 5 years! He loves it! It so awesome to see the guys (nypd and fdny) with so much passion and love for their profession

and who doesnt love a man in uniform
