I want to cry...please give me advice

I had a custom made wedding band made to go wih my e-ring.

well today it was done and I was so excited to go see it...and well its so ugly! I hate it so much! I didnt want to be rude so all I said was Ill have john pick it up on tuesday and went to my car and cried.

I have to take it thought right? its 2000 and since it was custom made its not like she can sell it to someone else right? so i have to pay for it I guess...so ill just say goodbye to 2000 dollars

I dont want to pay for it what can I do

maybe you can go back, tell them you really had something else in mind, and see if they'll alter it for you? I'm sorry

I would talk to them, and maybe they can change it for you? I feel so bad!

Awww Jess I'm so sorry you feel that way. Why do you think it's ugly? I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that you would have to pay for it. Do you definitely not want it and did you try it on with your e-ring. I'm sure you did ..kind of stupid question. If you really dont want it you could try to sell it on Ebay. I actually sold jewelry on there before.

well, if it is any way different then what you expected i think they should be able to work with you on it

if it is the same exact thing you THOUGHT you wanted. . .you may be able to sell it back to a jeweler and get the one you want

awwwww jess - so sorry that you're unhappy!

was there a casting or something you saw previous to the final product that looked different? drawings or something? (i'm sorry i don't know how the customized wedding band thing works)... hopefully they can do something about it - i mean, you paid all that money, and jewelers like to keep customers happy, they rely on repeat business and referrals. and yes, e-bay is an option. i agree, don't settle, this is too important.

But maybe you can ask them if you can change some parts about it, i mean the jeweler might say its another 200$ or whatever for the changes

but hey if you dont love it jess I would def say something cause it is your wedding band and you are paying good money for it and i wouldnt want you to cry wearing something you dont love!!!!!!!

OMG so sorry to hear this, did you tell the jewelers that you werent happy with this, maybe they can redo it for you

i defiantly agree with all the girls, you have to be happy with your wedding band since you'll be wearing it the rest of your life! I'm sure they will work with you on this, but I wouldn't take it home until its exactly what you want

What I dont like is alot of things...
the ring was supposed to look like my e-ring and match it with the engraving and stuff..it looks cheap and poorly made

also because it makes my ring look HUGE and UGLY

they were going make me a mold to show me how it looked near my ering and never did...just made the ring and called me and told me it was ready.

I know there are more important things to worry about...but to me my wedding band means the most and I am honestly heartbroken over this

No you want this to be perfect, like matilde said you are wearing this for hte rest of your life. Don't be heartbroken, they have to work with you on it, especially if they just made it and never showed you the mold, this was wrong. Go there ASAP and tell them that you're not happy and see what they'll do. lol, if you want me to call up and see what happens if a customer get's a ring she's not happy with to find what their policy is I will.

This happened to my brother and sister in law. She told them she didnt like the ring and they made her a new one........you are paying for it and if you dont like it then you have the right to say so.

yes she is soo right...I feel like after all is said and done with this wedding all I will have other then memories is my husband and my wedding band! I just wish she had shown me a mold first because I could have put it next to my ring and said no I dont like it and would have just worn my ering on my right hand...but she didnt do this! didnt even show me a picture, I just trusted her since she made my ering and love that ...I would have even paid for the mold to be done...but she just went ahead and made it. I just cant belive this ..I know its a dumb thing to be crying about all day but I have. John keeps telling me its fine and we will work it out...

I'm so sorry to hear this about your w-ring.. definitely do not walk out of there with the ring.. explain to her that you do not like the ring & it's nothing what you pictured. do not pay for something that is not what you want.
