I had a custom made wedding band made to go wih my e-ring.
well today it was done and I was so excited to go see it...and well its so ugly! I hate it so much! I didnt want to be rude so all I said was Ill have john pick it up on tuesday and went to my car and cried.
I have to take it thought right? its 2000 and since it was custom made its not like she can sell it to someone else right? so i have to pay for it I guess...so ill just say goodbye to 2000 dollars
I dont want to pay for it what can I do

ok it is not like you just changed your mind about the ring - it sounds like the jeweler did not do what they said they would do - so i think you can definitely get something done!
good luck!

Im sorry you dont like your new ring, but honestly if you paid for it you should definately voice to them that you dont like it. You have to wear it and you paid for a product, so they should give you what you paid for. If they werent capable of doing so they should have informed you in advance. I would definately let them know. I hope it works out for you...dont be afraid to speak up, especially when its something so important.

I'm so sorry
I agree with the other girls - definitely talk to the jeweler and tell them how you feel. Tell them how you really don't like it and it's not what you expected and ask if they can work with you and change it. For $2000, you want something that you absolutely love.
Good luck!

Buy it and then take it somewhere else and try and sell it. My jewler buys stuff.

what about it dont u like? what part looks ugly? or is it that u dont like how it looks with your e-ring
What I dont like is alot of things... the ring was supposed to look like my e-ring and match it with the engraving and stuff..it looks cheap and poorly made
also because it makes my ring look HUGE and UGLY
they were going make me a mold to show me how it looked near my ering and never did...just made the ring and called me and told me it was ready.
I know there are more important things to worry about...but to me my wedding band means the most and I am honestly heartbroken over this
They should have shown you the mold first, did you have anything in writing? Sorry you don't like it, I hope you can come to a suitable agreement

Wow, that's a really tough situation....just be honest with them, tell them that you don't like it, and you're having a hard time spending $2000 on something you don't like and ask if there's anything they can do....did you already put a deposit down or pay for it?

please dont accept anything that isnt what you wanted! i agree with the other girls, tell them this isnt the quality you expected and they never showed you the mold so you this is not your fault! it may get ugly, but in the end you will get the ring made the way you want it or your money back. if they refuse, then you could try the selling option, but be sure to give them a nasty review and let them know business will suffer!!! i wish i knew the legal impications though.
