I went to a dress shop today.

Last week I went to Valentina's bridal in Brooklyn and tried on a dress (this dress is made by Valentina) and in the store everyone loved it. I was a little wishy washy on it and I just didnt have that feel.

Sunday all day I just couldnt get the dress out of my head. Its all I could think about and I just had to go back and try it again.

NYLisa was going to be in Valentina's today and I was to meet her (we missed each other ) and I tried on the dress and as soon as I looked at myself in the mirror I felt like cinderella going to the ball. (The dress is very very princess like. Its an A line skirt with an off the shoulder neck line, but very fairytale cinderella type dress) I just sparkled in the dress.

I am going to another bridal shop on April 26 and I am 99.9999999% positive I am going to go back to Valentina's the following week, try on the dress again and leave with a receipt that my mom left a deposit.

Olgaki: that is so funny. I am a huge cake lover. My FI proposed using cake I am serious. He wanted a cake from this one particular bakery (which he had been talking about for months) and one day he calls me at work and told me (it was a monday I believe) and said I ordered me that cake I have been talking about. I laughed and said ok.

Then on Friday Sept 13, he calls me and says I picked up the cake. I said oh what did you get, hands off Liss?? or Brians cake? he laughed and said you got it. But I wont have a piece until you get home.

So when I got home i got out of my work clothes and he said so go cut us a piece of that cake. So I go into the kitchen and there is this HUGE sheet cake. I take it out of the fridge, cut all the strings and tape and when I open it, it says 'will you marry me?' with the ring in the box on the cake.

I looked at the cake, then looked at him, looked back at the cake, back at him and said 'they gave you the wrong cake'

Misty: oh no. i was there at 1.

I did see last week a girl trying on a BM cornflower blue dress and my MOH was with me and loved the color. I dont think it was a halter, but the color is so pretty

awwwwwwwwww the way to your heart is through your tummy! At least you have restraint - I probably would have noticed what was going one when I bit down on the box as I shoved cake in my face lol

LOL I was in shock so I didnt have the lets eat cake mode going on. But once if finally hit me, and cut the cake I cut me the biggest slice and wow was that cake so good. The frosting was so light, and the cake was so moist. The filling was vanilla pudding. That was the best cake I ever had

Though I called my best friend first and he was standing over the cake with a knife, fork and a plate asking me so are we going to have cake???
