Last week I went to Valentina's bridal in Brooklyn and tried on a dress (this dress is made by Valentina) and in the store everyone loved it. I was a little wishy washy on it and I just didnt have that feel.
Sunday all day I just couldnt get the dress out of my head. Its all I could think about and I just had to go back and try it again.
NYLisa was going to be in Valentina's today and I was to meet her (we missed each other ) and I tried on the dress and as soon as I looked at myself in the mirror I felt like cinderella going to the ball. (The dress is very very princess like. Its an A line skirt with an off the shoulder neck line, but very fairytale cinderella type dress) I just sparkled in the dress.
I am going to another bridal shop on April 26 and I am 99.9999999% positive I am going to go back to Valentina's the following week, try on the dress again and leave with a receipt that my mom left a deposit.

No pic Its customed made by the store's owner for the store to sell it and the store doesnt have it on its website. (I looked )

YAY!!!! Thats the way I always know if an outfit is right for me to buy, especially if it's this important...I can't get it out of my head. You must be so excited! I love Valentina's...you're sure to have a great experience with them!

Wow! Congratulations! I picked my dress the same way! I wasn't particularly crazy about this one dress but my FMIL couldn't stop crying. Then, days later, I couldn't stop thinking about it so I went back and bought it. There is so much pressure buying a wedding dress and it's such a relief when you find one you really like!

I am really excited. I know this is the dress. I just cant get it out of my head and when I put it on I was like 'WOW' and completely blown away. My mom said it looked so amazing on me this time then last time.
I just cant get it out of my head this dresss.
So we are hoping to go back the end of April. YAY!!

I haven't gone shopping for a dress yet - maybe in May =))))))) But I love to hear that everyone gets that 'Feeling' I want a feeling too!!!!!

I did miss Chippa today at Valentina's (sent you a FM about it). I had a great experience there. I am going back next Saturday to get measured and a deposit on a dress that I loved and when I tried ot on (twice) I felt like a princess. I do not know the designer or have a picture. I will let you know the designer and post a pic once I have one and know it.

awwww Chip - that sounds awesome congrats! I bet you look beautiful! That's the way I feel about chocolate cake - I see it in the pastry store window and I dont buy - but spend all night thinking about it and then go back the next day and skarf that puppy down!

LMFAO!! Chocolate cake. OMG that is so true. I do that too when I pass a bakery and I see a beautiful fresh chocolate cake 7 layers high sitting in the window. I dont buy it but all day its all i could think about, the cake with a nice cold glass of milk...

At about 4:00....it was just me and a red headed girl with her baby. Probably wasn't us because all we did was look at the ones we ordered.
Did you see the cornflower blue halter hanging anywhere? That's my bridesmaids dress. Like while wedding gown shopping you'd ever have the presence of mind to look at that crap.

Ughhhh cake is my downfall (I just made a funfetti cake). Its the running joke in my family how on my wedding day I'll get miniature velvet ropes and rope off the wedding cake so only I can eat then buy Entinmanns for the rest of the guests =))
