I went to the store and came back and some guy is sitting in his car in front of my house!

He is in my spot!!!!!!GRRRR!!!
He told me that he is in the neighborhood doing work so not to be alarmed. I don't like someone just sitting there.If he was doing work,he should be doing more than sitting there.

Me too! I locked the door. I just don't like someone sitting there like that. I don't like his excuse either.He wasn't descriptive enough as to what kind of work or for who. I should copy his plate.

Yes copy his plate and wait. If he is still sitting there within another hour or 2 I would call the police.

Its a young kid I think. I didn't really look because I had a trunk full of groceries.I grabbed what stuff needed to be refrgierated and what I could carry in one trip and I left the rest. I want him to go away!
I am getting very annoyed.

if he has been there for awhile doing that, call the cops, he might be a lookout for others diong bad stuff or something...or he oculd just be sitting there (LOL! - in my mind though its the firt one!)

honestly I would take his license plate number and if he doesn't leave soon call the police - he might be casing the houses to see who is around or not - He may also honestly be doing work for a neighbor and sitting in his car reading for his lunch break

I would call the police and ask them to check it out... he might be scouting things out for a burglary to happen

I think you should call the police also. There's no reason to be sitting there like that for this long.

My heart just fell to the floor. I heard footsteps on the front porch and I thought 'he's coming to get me.' It was my MIL.
He's got Carolina plates. Hubby will be home soon so if he's still here,hubby will say something.
Hubby is a big guy.The guy will get scared of him.

Ok, he's there now a little over an hour. I think its very strange.
Hope hubby pulls up and sees him.The guy will poo his pants if he approaches him.

No because I was annoyed.He's in MY PARKING SPOT!!!!! I had a car full of groceries (some of which I left in there) because he's there!
He poked his head out and said 'he is doing work in the area.' What kind of work requires sitting in your car for over an hour?

It might be an appraiser - - has a house sold on your street recently (within a year)? If he still sitting there, just keep a listing of his license plate or annoy him by staring.
