My FH and I went to visit this church that his aunt goes to. The Pastor turned out to be one of those that are on TV. And kills you with AMENS, etc. I really didn't mind that but what did it was a wheelchair,canes,and crutches nailed to the wall. That was MORE than enough. Back to the drawing board. I still need a church.

Are you looking for a specific faith? I went to the Lutheran Church in Syosset and spoke with Pastor Anderson. He was wonderful!

Well I am catholic and he is baptist. The reception hall is in Massapequa , so somewhere in the area we would like some type of limo ride if poss.

I am getting married at Our Lady of Grace in Babylon, you dont need to be a member of the parish to get married there so thats an option and its not that far at all! Good Luck! Oh and I think I would have stood there like if I had of seen that church you saw!!!

Thanks Kelly, but we live in Brooklyn and Laurelton,so the drive to Massapequa is a stretch. That church was hillarious

sounds like they were from people that had been disabled and were then healed. but still i would be a bit freaked out by seeing that if i went there too. i'm a church goer but even that would be strange to look at.

We decided to have our wedding at the Baport United Methodist Church. Its a Beautiful, small white church w/ stained glass windows and wooden pews... its Beautiful... As far as I know they let all denominations in there, and if you need to use the pastor, shes really nice.
