She was definitely drunk however, it was a cash only bar so I don't know how much she drank.
However, she was sober enough to go back to her room, count her checks and proceed to tell the other bridesmaid 'how much money they made.'

sounds like something I might do

and everyone who knows me knows it

I would resist emailing her, unless you are heII bent on revenge for embarrassing you.

Totally not your fault, anyone who saw what happened knows that. I realize you want to tear her head off............give it a week or two and then let her have it.

PS. she was in her wedding gown screaming in the hotel lobby how we left her. It was the most insane thing I had ever witnessed.
I didn't know we had to all ride together in a shuttle after the wedding. I've been a bridesmaid a dozen times and I never had to take care of the B&G's transportation

WOW

An after-bridezilla! I don't know what to say except to tell her how she humiliated you and herself and she better make it up to you big time!

I would chalk it up to her nerves and the drinking. If you are really hurt over it (which it sounds like you are) you need to let her know that. It will probably take some time and space but hopefully you can make up the friendship after a while. Sorry that happened to you Sometimes it seems when we try our hardest for other people it backfires. I think she took out her entire frustration as a bride on you. Its not fair but I can see how it could happen

i guess she just might be a spoiled brat then. I couldn't imagine doing that to anybody in public. I would tell her how you feel, dont hold it in. But i dont think you need to throw her out of your bp. Just let her know you dont accept that type of behavior

sorry this happened, you dont deserve, but dont feel embarassed bc she is the only one who should be

What is really insane is that she doesn't think she did anything wrong. Her entire bridal party, including myself, don't want to talk to her.... ever.....

Her MIL told one of the Bm's that she is 'shaken up' by what she witnessed the night before.

she sounds very unstable.

I would send her the long email, and tell her everything you just wrote in this post...

There is never an excuse for bad behavior and she owes you an apology - not a sheepish 'are you mad at me?'

So sorry......

WOW!!! That's insane.... Sounds like she wasn't really into the wedding in the first place (with her involvement in planning & decisions). Is she really happy? TO me, just knowing this small little bit- sounds like maybe not. Sorry you were caught in the middle!! Good thing she's in CA....

Re: I witnessed the most insane Bride Meltdown and....

I took her outside and said 'get yourself together... no one will remember the wedding. EVERYONE will remember this. Save whatever dignity you have left....'

She proceeds to scream 'I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU F'ING LEFT ME'

And ran into the hotel screaming some more

It was totally crazy.

Jenn, it was insane.
I wrote a very articulate letter to her that I plan to send after she gets back.
She wrote me an email (she's on HM) saying 'HM is GREAT! Why haven't you written me back?'

'ummmm, maybe cause you cursed me out?'

Oh yeah, and because she is 'antibride' a few weeks ago she proceeded to tell me details of my shower. I told her to cut it out and that I wanted it to be surprise.
She goes 'why do you want it to be surprise?' I was like 'cause that is the point of SHOWERS!'
ugh

I hate to say it... but did she WANT to get married.. or was this the next step? Maybe she needs to get some more things off her chest, and unfortunatly you are the bearer of the ***** fest.

Re: I witnessed the most insane Bride Meltdown and....

What makes me wonder is 'why did she even CARE where I was after the wedding?' She was with her husband
She is not a 14 year old girl we left at the school dance
she is a 31 year old WOMAN who was at the reception hall with her HUSBAND.

I was waiting for her at the bar with the rest of her family and friends.

Oh man, thats insane sorry you went through that.

I don't know your past with this girl, but I don't know if I'd really want the drama in my life to be honest - but if you're close with her and want to fix things, I'd wait for a REAL apology.

Not a little 'are you mad at me?'

You deserve better than that

Re: I witnessed the most insane Bride Meltdown and....

I would definately have a talk with her about her rude behavior and lack of respect for you. She needs to know that you were hurt by it and she was wrong and embarrassed herself, b/c if you don't say anything, the message sent to her is that it was okay or forgotten about and who knows what will happen at your wedding if she has too much to drink.

Good Luck.
