Please tell me that someone videotaped this so that you can show her later on how absurd and embarassing she acted.

also the fact that she says it is normal to feel 'empty' after a wedding is alarming....I don't know about you ladies, but after I marry FH I certainly won't be feeling 'empty'....that may be a sign that she is not happy........that could be part of the problem.
This is what she wrote to me:
I just wanted to tell you all this because you are going to go through it and , after talking to a few people, I hear that this sense of emptiness and confusion is Normal. I know you've been on the bridesmaid end of things many times but you havent been on this end.....you helped me get through the planning process because you knew everything and I didnt.....This maybe I can prepare you for. I had NO IDEA i would feel this way and knowing its normal makes me feel a little better.
okay everyone has different experiences. i can tell you that many brides DO get sad after their wedding - that is perfectly normal
but by after the wedding i mean after the HM, after returning to work and the day to day - yeah the 'special day' is over but NOT A FEW MINUTES AFTER THE RECEPTION!
i cannot believe she embarassed herself like that - i ALMOST feel bad for her. Her marriage is pretyt much doomed bc the ONLY person she should want to be with at that moment is her HUSBAND and since she is so concerned with where YOU were - obviously her marriage is off to a rough start
i dont think you need people like this in your life, i think you should tell her how you feel - i am sorry this happened to you i hate when things turn out so differently then what you planned. . . i am sure that is the last thing you were expecting on that day
i am still in shock about this.

WOW very weird and cant believe how she acted
was she drunk?
She was definitely drunk however, it was a cash only bar so I don't know how much she drank. However, she was sober enough to go back to her room, count her checks and proceed to tell the other bridesmaid 'how much money they made.'
what is wrong with people? seriously - people have serious issues.

It was totally insane. Then I came home to find out my dog died. I was in mourning for over a week and hardly posted. I finally had the guts today to post because I really don't know what to do. if she does this at her wedding, what could she do at mine? The potential is endless

That's what I thought - I would only care if my husband left me after the reception lol

I'm rading through this thread and I can't believe her. I'm sorry that she screamed at you. Despite being nervous and/or drunk she should've exhibited some self control.
Again I'm sorry you went through that.,..there really is not excuse in my book for that kind of behavior.

It's been a whirlwind of emotions for sure....
But I concentrated on my dog rather than her because honestly, my dog was more important than she was....

Wow! I'm sorry you had to deal with her crazyness.
...I can tell from her behavior (which you've probably already figured out) is that sumthin' ain't right.
Why would you care if your BP left you after the reception?? My entire BP left like 10 minutes after it was over, and we met them at the hotel like an hour later. Like some other ladies said, the only person who I would have had a fit if they left is my husband. Also, the fact the she's e-mailing you on her honeymoon is strange to me.

What makes me wonder is 'why did she even CARE where I was after the wedding?' She was with her husband She is not a 14 year old girl we left at the school dance she is a 31 year old WOMAN who was at the reception hall with her HUSBAND.
I was waiting for her at the bar with the rest of her family and friends.
that was going to be my question - was she alone or wasn't she with her husband?
that is totally bizarre and strange in my opinion. I've done stupid things drunk but i can't see having a total meltdown like that... i mean who cares if you left me as long as my husband is there with me on our wedding day?
i've tried really hard to weed out the psychos in my life; sounds like you might need to cut her out - sorry you had to deal with this and EWWW i can't believe she's telling you shower details! I've called myself anti-bride (my sister got me the anti-bride planner ) but i love helping people with their wedding stuff! it's not right that she tried to spoil it for you!
I got her the same 'antibride' planner and yes, she was with her husband. She was not alone. She was also with their two friends from california and her parents. who was just saying 'calm down honey'
If it was me and FH, my fh would have shook me and been like 'GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF'
mine would have left me there. or thrown me underneath the shower and said 'sober up'. [it's been done ]
I just read this post. LOLOL
Yes, that planner is really cute! I honestly did so much for her and enjoyed it. Now I feel like all my efforts were wasted on a spoiled, petty, insecure brat
loved that planner! i thought it was so funny and cute; i bought it for my friend also.

Wow. talk about Bridezilla moments! Sorry that your friend had a meltdown.
I think if I was in your place, depending on how I felt about her and the whole situation would determine if I would send her that email or not. If you don't see her as someone you would want in your life in the future, then you should make it a point to let her know what she did and not invite her to your wedding, but if she is someone that does mean something to you and you think you can get over the whole thing, still let her know what she did was wrong and hopefully she'd be able to apologize for her actions.
good luck with it.

i know what you mean. it totally stinks. and it's worse that she's not remorseful... for her sake i hope her marriage isn't doomed like others have said - but it doesn't sound good.

I am so sorry about your dog.
As for our favorite bride. I can't see myself email her. I'm the type to meet her face to face let her have a drink, then tell her off in public and then I would tell if she tried that at my wedding she will have to deal with me. I can't feel sorry her, we all have our problems, but there is a time and place for everything.
I agree with you ladies, I would have yell if my husband wasn't with me not my friend.
