Re: I witnessed the most insane Bride Meltdown and....

i am soooo confused......who would want their BP to ride with them back to the hotel anyway? wouldnt you want to finally be alone with your husband!! the only person i wouldnt want to leave me during my wedding is my groom!

she does sound like a spoiled brat - and immature and crazy! even if for some reason you were wrong and you did leave her (im just using this for arguments sake) there is no reason that she should be making a scene and yelling about it in front of her guests and thats IF you did do something wrong which you didnt - sounds very immature and it sounds like for someone so shy about the wedding she really knows how to get the attention drawn to herself - im sure all her guests think she is a wackadoo now!

Nicole, you brought up a very good point. for someone that did not want attention, she certainly brought it upon herself that night....

Hmmm, i may steal that line for my letter

sorry didn't see your last post.....she emailed you asking why you didn't email her back????

Has she any clue?? definately let her stew while she is away and then give her your letter/email that you wrote.

Is this the first time she has had a blowup like this?

What makes me wonder is 'why did she even CARE where I was after the wedding?' She was with her husband
She is not a 14 year old girl we left at the school dance
she is a 31 year old WOMAN who was at the reception hall with her HUSBAND.

I was waiting for her at the bar with the rest of her family and friends.

that was going to be my question - was she alone or wasn't she with her husband?

that is totally bizarre and strange in my opinion. I've done stupid things drunk but i can't see having a total meltdown like that... i mean who cares if you left me as long as my husband is there with me on our wedding day?

i've tried really hard to weed out the psychos in my life; sounds like you might need to cut her out - sorry you had to deal with this and EWWW i can't believe she's telling you shower details! I've called myself anti-bride (my sister got me the anti-bride planner ) but i love helping people with their wedding stuff! it's not right that she tried to spoil it for you!

i am so sorry that she treated you like that- she acted awful and imo she will need to do a lot to show that she would never treat you so poorly again- especially when you did so much for her

for you, because you are always so nice & you dont deserve to be treated like that!

I got her the same 'antibride' planner
and yes, she was with her husband. She was not alone. She was also with their two friends from california and her parents.
who was just saying 'calm down honey'

If it was me and FH, my fh would have shook me and been like 'GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF'

mine would have left me there. or thrown me underneath the shower and said 'sober up'. [it's been done ]

loved that planner! i thought it was so funny and cute; i bought it for my friend also.

She's always been bratty and I just kinda dealt with it bc we've been friends for 16 years
But that meltdown was enough to make me not want to speak to her.

I'm waiting to send the letter. I don't want her to read it while on HM.

also the fact that she says it is normal to feel 'empty' after a wedding is alarming....I don't know about you ladies, but after I marry FH I certainly won't be feeling 'empty'....that may be a sign that she is not happy........that could be part of the problem.

this all seems very fishy to me - of course it could be a legit meltdown BUT if it was she could have given you a real apology - if i did that to one of my friends i would feel horrible! if i were you my feelings would be hurt too - i think you should let her know that you are upset by it.....has she spoken to any of the other BMs yet?

This is what she wrote to me:

I just wanted to tell you all this because you are going to go through it and , after talking to a few people, I hear that this sense of emptiness and confusion is Normal. I know you've been on the bridesmaid end of things many times but you havent been on this end.....you helped me get through the planning process because you knew everything and I didnt.....This maybe I can prepare you for. I had NO IDEA i would feel this way and knowing its normal makes me feel a little better.

I know what you mean, I have had a few people like that in my life...you just deal with things but after awhile or something like this - you are ready to move on.

Just read that....wow...maybe she is not 100% happy.......and she is still on her HM? Shouldn;t she be having the time of her life?

Wow!!! There has to be something going on with her, deeper than you just leaving her at the RH.

Keep us updated after you send her that email. Maybe inform your BMs that if they start to see her drink alot at your wedding to watch her, you dont want her pulling anything or doing something stupid.

Please tell me that someone videotaped this so that you can show her later on how absurd and embarassing she acted.

Honestly, it would have been great footage for 'Bridal meltdowns'

Just imagine: Big White Dress, Tears STreaming down the face and a girl screaming obscenities.

Yes, that was her wedding. Stuff that dreams are made out of...
