I 'won' $250 towards entertainment at my wedding

Has anyone received a call stating that they were the Bride of the Day and the recipient of $250 towards their wedding entertainment?
A very rude and unprofessional woman named Tara called to congratulate me and said she got my name from this web site.

I asked if I won a prize or a discount and she said that since I had to get a DJ anyway - I should be grateful they were giving me $250 towards the price.

I told her I was actually getting a band and she said (in a nasty tone), 'EXCUUUUUSE ME! Wow - good for you.'

Then she hung up.

What a scam!!!!

whoa....

If you have caller ID and it came up, I would call her and tell her she won a $250 gift certificate.

I get this call once a month, and now I have memorized the number and don't answer it. I told her to beat it and leave me alone, but no good. Still bothers me. ANNOYING!

She got my name from an Expo I went to at the Hilton. Called and called again lol

After a while these people really start to get on your nerves. And they always all call on the same night. Wednesday is my night...they all call one after the other. They drive me nuts

I never got a call like this, but let me tell you if I did, I would not be too nice. My good friends call it my 'fury'. I can be really quiet when I do not know someone, then I am outgoing when I know the person a long time, but when I am harassed like that watch out!!!

I have gotten the same call from the same woman (who was extremely rude to FH when we had to cancel our appointment) so I can guess who it was that called you.
