On the bodies of rescue personnel at ground zero. In DH's firehouse alone there are 3 of us who have had 2 or more miscarriages since

My DH's friend is a cop who worked a lot at Ground Zero, and his wife is due to give birth in two weeks.

It's a good question, though. One thing is for sure, there are a lot of respiratory problems in the FDNY and NYPD since 9/11. The NYPD has even offered free physicals for anyone who was involved at Ground Zero, and it includes blood work, respiratory testing, the whole works. They want to get things on record in case down the road a real health problem is discovered.

Michelle, I am so sorry to hear of all that you and DH have been through

Columbia is doing a study on the effects of 9/11 on pregnant women and newborn children. Take a look here:

I wonder about what we'll find out about the air quality...I was in front of the WTC that day and returned to my office several months later. I pray that the powers-to-be at my company made the right decisions.

Yes theresa I did and he had said that there was no way to know....He did tell me though that they saw alot more MC's that month and the following month then they normally saw.

This is definitely a good question, however, will it ever really be answered?
