I work with IDIOTS!!!

So I have this one weasel attorney telling me, I can't figure out how to put the label in the printer...I have a Phd and I can't figure out how to put a label in the printer!!!

Okay, are you proud of this, you moron? and he says he shouldn't have to do this! He shouldn't have to know how to put a **** label in the printer because he's an attorney but I have to deal with his stupidity and can't call him a moron because I'm not one!!

I can't deal with stupid people. We have this one girl that calls us everyday and then tells us to hold on while she finds the information she wants to give us.Uh hello,you called us!!! Or she has a conversation with someone else while she just called us to ask us something.

What a jerk! I work with Attorneys as well and some of them are REALLY on POWER trips! They literally walk with their noses in the air! Don't get me wrong, some are really cool and nice, but some can really annoy me!!! Don't worry, you are not alone!

BTW - I also work for a Partner of my Firm... and he even TYPES his own Fed Ex lables! LOL! I guess I should never complain!

i work with idiots as well.

i love making them feel like even bigger idiots as well.

i shut off the copy machine and they think its on power save. then they are pushing all the buttons thinking it will turn it on. then they get so mad and come to me and complain the copier isnt working. so i then go over, look at it like hmmm what could be the problem. then i hit the power button and wouldnt ya know it works.

One of the partners I work with walks around talking about himself in the third person (how irritating can you be) saying 'as senior partner I say make three copies', senior partner this, senior partner that...there are only 12 people in the whole firm!!!! Jack@ss!!

I think one of the best is when they write a interoffice distribution on a sticky and leave it on your desk to place in the envelope and address it. HELLO just stick it in the **** envelope and address it yourself.. Talk about productivity..

LOL!!! I wish I had some stories to share... Here's one, not so funny though:

My partner screens his calls, which is fine, BUT, if it as interoffice phone, he can SEE who it is, but still I have to answer the call and intercom him who it is! That annoys me... other than that he's okay.

I used to have an older partner in my section, I guess he'd be considered Sr. partner (all partners here are under the same title, unless retired), used to pout if something didn't work, like if he couldn't get his email or the printer was broken, he'd whine and pout and stomp back to his office and bang things! VERY STRANGE! I just sit here and laugh, too bad his office moved, I miss that! LOL!

Does anyone have nitwits that try to give you a project when they know you don't even do them and EXPECT you to cover their behind and do it for them anyway? Well guess what I do!!

I ratted on a Senior Manager b/c what he tried to pull with me was flat out sneaky and slimy. I was not going to go down with him b/c of his moronic self. I am not in the MIS Dept and he tried to give me a project that he knew my department doesn't even handle. And expected ME to do it! Hell no! And it was due in 24 hours! BS! So I told my boss and she went straight to our VP who went to the Sr Manager's VP and he got in trouble. Tough luck dumb a$$!!

I agree with Lauren. There are some partners and associates here that work around like the firm should be greatful to have them working here. I work for a partner too and he is wonderful. He does most of his work himself.

this just happened.
this guy comes up to me and says do you know how to make labels. like if i give you a list can you put them to labels

i was like yea

so then he comes to me with a friggen newspaper and says ok well see numbers 51 - 105 i need you to make labels for those companies.

its a top lis of companies and there profiles and this jerk wants me to type labels of there address and the ceo's name because thats where whatever he is sending is going.

talk about cold calling

I've worked for partners that couldn't type their name but at least had the decency to be rational, intelligent human beings all other times...here I'm like - what skills do you have that allow you to be called my superior? there is only 1 attorney here who's cool....smart, competent - can count to 10 without using fingers...I don't know how the rest survived this long...
