is anyone having them at your wedding? i don't really care either way but my mom really likes them. i don't know any places that do this though besides Ice Sculpture Designs in Deer Park. Has anyone used them before or have contact info of other places? thanks.

Re: ice sculptures?
Sometimes the reception hall will carry them. I just checked the package we have and the hall is including one for us. Maybe you should ask the place where your having the reception

Re: ice sculptures?
I am going to have one as well. It was offered by my hall. And, luckily, because my FI is a doctor in LIJ we get the sculpture free as part of the deal!

Re: ice sculptures?
mine is not apart of the package, I don't see the need, but FH likes them, so who knows what we'll decide in the end?

Re: ice sculptures?
Mine came with the cocktail hour. I had a beautiful tropical fish for my seafood boat. It looked beautiful, but in the long run, I don't think anyone would have said boo if it wasn't there. I know they are expensive and I wouldn't have purchased one if it didn't come with my package.

Re: ice sculptures?
I think most halls include them (mine does) and if we want an 'upgraded' sculpture we have to pay extra.

Re: ice sculptures?
To get them is $300 extra at my hall-I felt I could spend that $ on more useful things, like ceremony music. It's not important to me, JMO. But if you llike it, and can afford it, GO FOR IT!

Re: ice sculptures?
We r not having one becuase it is so expensive, in fact the catering hall said that the food is so elaboratelly displayed, it would be a waste if you are on a budget. I would look in the yellow pages or just ask around.
