idea for DIY brides

I totally think we should have a DIY 'party' and order lots of pizza and wine and just all get together one day in the not to distant future and just work on all of our DIY projects...

Doing it all on my own is starting to get boring... I need more brides to obsess with!

we discussed having a GTG at my apartment in the hopes that I would get a bit more into DIY and prove myself wrong (that I am not a failure). lol

I would host but probably could only handle about 4-5 people cutting, gluing, and glittering at my kitchen table. lol

Lindsay, email me with the dates that you plan to be here on LI. Obviously I cant do 8/20 as I will be pouring myself into bridal gowns all day. lol

I will coordinate with the others and we can get something going later this summer/early Fall.

I would maybe think about hosting....I have the room for it....my kitchen table can fit six and my dining too and fit 8-10...my only issue is, part of my house may be under construction and I have three animals....would this be a problem, and I am on the north shore

I love this idea also! I also would be willing to offer my house for this! I have a big dining room table and an island that is also in the kitchen with stools that is attached. I can also set up a folding table near that area as well. So I have room for lots of people!

I am going to be in town this weekend and basically come there once a month...so lets pick a date and I will be there...

what about that Sunday morning? 8/21? We can do bagels instead of pizza (the jew in me is obsessed with bagels!) lol

Ok so lets count out the 21st lol.

I will be down this weekend too! (but Mel, I think you had a Bm thing on Sunday...I cant remember if it was this or another weekend you said)

but luckily we are not getting married till 2012 so we have some time on our hands...shall we try for a September weekend?
