Since we are receiving SEVEN!! entree choices from Fox Hollow, I was thinking of using a slim menu program and DIY-ing it into a menu. What do you think of this idea?

As long as you don't mind the effort and the expense of not using RH provided menus, sounds great!
If I had the extra money and patience to do it, I would. But apparently my gestapo of an RH doesn't allow us to provide anything DIY

yea i actually called the other day was trying to do all my paper stuff y aknow invitations place cards etc and i went hmm i know he said they provode them so i wanted to check..no luck its just standerd menu with a logo of fox hollow

They don't even personalize them to say your names and the date? Wow. Are you going to use a single slim menu card, or a folding slim program? How many choices of entree do you have? I'm just afraid that I can't fit them all on a single slim menu card!!!!!!

we have 7 choices and i have no idea how im going to do them..a friend of mine who got married last yr is going to help me..i want to do the slim we will see howit turns out..ill keep u posted

i think the slim menu would look nice.... i think it makes it look a little more elegant almost like a wine list

im just putting the dinner choices..i know we have all the other stuff but since they r just being served it rather than choosing it im leaving it out

i have 5 dinner choices so i'm in the same boat but i think of it like this...... when you go out to eat the font isn't exactally huge but you don't want to use a crazy teenie tiny font that even you can't read

That's what I was thinking as well!! They're going to get the appetizer duet and the wedding cake/dessert no matter what. . .they don't need to know what those things are!! Knowing what all seven choices are is definitely more important (not to mention easier to fit on a single slim card).

I like the slim menu cards. This is what I made for my DIY rehearsel dinner invites but the style can be the same for the menus.
Ooh, where did you order that one? I love the font--although small, it's still legible!

yes..it looks small but they assured me it would be better in person as this is the normal size people order. i got it from forthemodernbride.com WM personalizes the menus for you so i wasnt going to make or buy them but I won these!

lol..actually...its a random drawing..I didnt even know about it. Because i am a card box customer..they put me in this weekly drawing that they have.
