I have my friend Beth here today (bxgell2). She and her husband are visiting from Philly. I'm trying to figure out where to go today. I considered the wineries, but she's pregnant. Any good ideas? I live in Nesconset....

Ohh...if you go out east, you HAVE to stop at Briemere farms on Sound Ave so Beth can pick up a pie or two!!!!

You can go down to main street in Port Jefferson and visit the shops.

or even hop the ferry to Conn!! Greenport is a nice town to walk around also
ETA: if you do Port Jeff, you can also do Old Stony Brook where there is a lovely duck pond, a beach to walk on, and more little shops

St. James general sotre is also a great place to stop by just for the old fashioned candy!

Yes! We've done a lot of work to the house. I wish I had more 'before' pictures. I'll post them soon! We wound up going to Port Jeff. It was a lot of fun! Then we went for a walk with our dogs in the county park. Thanks guys!
