IDK

I have a friend that is coming to my Wedding. She is very nice but sometimes likes to party a little too hard, she got kicked out of the bar we work at and banned because she was beating her Boyfriend! So they just broke up and she was saying she wasn't going to bring anyone and I just saw she was on FB. So I im'd her and was asking how she was and everything and then I asked Who are you going to bring? (I would like to know who is coming to my Wedding) and she responds her EX!. Like I know people fight but they have been off and on for 7 years AND I REALLY DON'T NEED ANY DRAMA Should I say something? And What?

Ohh man - can you position your response that you dont think its a good idea for her to bring him since it's bad for HER.

They broke up - its probably in her best interest to have some time a part from him.

ETA: i made your friend a 'him', sorry

Whats the deal with them now? Are they together? If they are together, I wouldn't bring it up....MAYBE just MAYBE they will be civil....if they are EX's with a history I would say something and ask if she really thinks thats a good idea considering the past....

yeah have your friend say something, this way she can be like ' your NOT really brinignn him are you??'

I would be careful how you go about it, becayse you dont want to piss her off and make her not come, but you have a legi reason to be upset an cautious..... i mean we dont want a RHONJ episode at your wedding

Re: IDK

maybe you can politely ask her not to drink at the wedding. that would probably help keep things in check if she really must bring her ex (i kinda think its too late to say anything about her date becuase it seems like she already invited the ex as her date).

i have 2 friends (bridesmaids actually) who seem to loose their minds and all self control when there is an open bar so i flat out told them i dont want them drinking at my wedding. hopefully if you express how much it will bother you if things get out of hand she will respect your wishes.
