If a bridal gown is too big....

is it that hard to take in? I ordered my dress in the size I was at the time, but I've since lost 10 pounds and will probably have lost 30 by the time of the wedding.

Is it a real problem to take a dress in a lot? Here's the dress:

It depends on the dress. Do you have a seamstress yet? If so, I would definitely ask him or her. My dress was a sample and is a few sizes too big for me. Because it is very simple in construction with not a lot of detail, my seamstress can alter it to fit me.

I bought my dress at a sample sale and it is way too big. They said it's no problem taking it in.
Now, if you had to take it out, that would be hard!

30 pounds is probably 2 or 3 sizes, right?
That shouldn't be a problem.

I lost 20 pounds from the time i ordered my dress to the time of my first fitting, and then an additional 5 pounds between first fitting and last one, last night... They had to take in about 3 inches on both sides the first fitting, and last night you couldn't even tell. it looked perfect, now they just have to take a little bit off the top, like 1/2 inch...it is very easy to do..and I think it is very common for brides to go lose weight between purchasing and fitting the dress. Had I ordered mine at my current weight/measurements it would have probably been ordered 3 sizes smaller they said...

so don't worry- yuo will be fine!
