that is a really beautiful dress, ive never tried this silhouette on, but that tiny little girl on platinum weddings wore a mermaid dress and it looked really nice on her, and i think she was pretty short

i'm short too i tried mermaid dresses and they did look nice and i am not being c0ckie! i think you should give it a chance and try it on first

Yea its beautiful! - Enzoani. Where the flare goes out - it was at my calfs! LOL
I ended up getting a trumpet style anyway but ONLY b/c Lazaro said he would custom make the dress in Petite so the flare begins at my knees or a little above.
Otherwise, your right - the style is doable for for short girls. You should def try that silhouette! Would look amazing on you!

im only 5'2'' and it is a whole lot of dress but im wearing 4'' heels and i always wanted the whole cinderella thing.... i tired on other style but they just werent me

Awwww, you're a shorty like me! I'm 4'11' but will probably be going with a princess style gown. Like Joanna, I've always wanted to be Cinderella on my wedding day.

That dress is beautiful. I am hoping that short people can wear that style because that is the look I would like. I think it depends on your body type also. I have a small chest and frame this dress would give me some curves. That is one of the things that is most appealing.

haha - YAY for the shorty's!
The mermaid style dress definitely provides a more curvy silhouette - try to get it in petite size or go to a trunk show so the designer can ok a custom hem. It def made me look taller!
I can't wait to start seeing everyone's first fitting pictures - that is going to be exciting!

if you like the look of mermaid but are short, try a trumpet style....the mermaid looked stupid on me bc i'm short too (5'3) but the trumpet style looked pretty good, it was my second choice
