I would have totally bought this dress!
I Loved it soo much but it was wayy too overwhelming for my height. - 4'10

if you like the look of mermaid but are short, try a trumpet style....the mermaid looked stupid on me bc i'm short too (5'3) but the trumpet style looked pretty good, it was my second choice

Your right with that too - I ended up with a trumpet - but the flare still needed to be brought 4 inches up. They are very similar and both oh so sexy!
