so my sisters were aksing me all these questions bout what i want/where i want it etc etc...so i was giving them ideas when they said do u want to be in on it..so we dont mess it up lol...and im not sure now..part of me wants to be surprised but part says then i can know when it is to look ok and help them out as much as i can...what would u do?

I really want to be surprised! I am always the one planning things for everyone else, and with this wedding I'm feeling planned out! However my mom has already let some of the details slip, so now I don't think I am going to be surprised

I would love to be surprised....BUT....there is one family member on FH's side that ruins surprises...so who knows if I'll find out.
I'd give them ideas and stuff of what you would like; and you can help them out in any way that wouldn't ruin the surprise.
You can always get an outfit ready and leave with whomever is planning it so they have it with them the day of the shower.

I would say - let them plan it all! How many times in your life are you going to be TRULY surprised for anything, let alone a (YOUR!) bridal shower! Surprises are FUN!

I didn't want to know, and my father ruined it, then my nana put the final nail in the coffin, and I'm still really upset about it. I'm a traditionalist, and as far as I'm concerned it should be a surprise, and I made it very clear that I wanted to be surprised, and they still disregarded it, because both of them can be very inconsiderate and selfish at times. I mean, I love them...but it runs deeper than just a shower, and it was just another thing that was like damn, does anyone consider my feelings at all?

ALthough I am a total control freak with all other aspects of planning this wedding and planning in general.. I want nothing to do with planning the shower or knowing anything about it.. I want it to be a complete surprise for me!

I dont want to know the details, like a month ago my mom was telling me how she and my fmil were having problems agreeing on a date I told her to stop telling me that s'**t . I did request that the week of like 3 days before to tell me this weekend is the shower. I am not 1 of those people who want to change when they get there etc. I want to have my eyebrows done, my hair looking decent (or else trust me I would look crazy lol) and my make up looking decent. I see it as I will still be surprised with the location of it, people there and exactly how everythng looks so thats enough for me

I would want to know so i can tell them what type of theme i want and just so you know so you can be ready on that day. I do know about my shower because i had to help my mom in finding a venue and tell her what type of colors i wanted.

i just wanted to know the date and that is it but then I wanted to know if there was theme and I didn't like it so I made them change it but that is it..I only know the date and theme and the cake nothing else...I dont even know who is invited which scares me lol

I do know about my shower, i helped my mom pick a place and a date. I hate surprises, and she knew she prob couldn't keep it from me anyway lol, she ***** at surprises!
so as far as all the details, cps, favors, games, prizes, all that...that will be a surprise!
