If ur ceremony is at RH...

Are you getting limos? FH & I are going round & round about this. It's not about the cost but he feels that they are unnecessary. We are getting ready at family member's houses that are only 5-10 minutes from RH then taking pics and everything at the RH. I was also thinking of putting on my dress at the RH. I think we might need them. What do you think?

ps-has anyone heard of getting limos for only an hour? We won't need it more than that.

I'm getting a limo for an hour. FH and the guys getting ready at the hall and I am at my parents. All the girls are taking the limo from there.

I am getting a limo to pick me and whoever else is at my dad's house (where I am getting ready) to take us to the RH. My FH will be at our house getting ready with the GM and his mom and grandma and I am having a white escalade take them to the RH. Early that morning or the day before we are going to park a couple of cars at the RH so we will have rides home the day of the wedding. I got a great deal for the 8 pass limo and 6 pass escalade from Regal Limo. FM me if you want their information.

That is basically what we are doing. It makes the most sense.

FH and I got limos.....our RH is about an hour from us. I will be getting ready at my parents with my girls and him at his parents with his boys. each limo will be taking us to the RH and only 1 will be staying with us for pics.

Honestly, in your case, it doesnt seem so necessary to get them since you will only be 5-10 minutes from the RH BUT if you want to get them for an hour and for pics then why not? right?

We got married at our RH, which was a hotel, and we didn't get limos. We didn't really see the need for it since we we'd get there way before everyone else for pictures.

I've been having trouble figuring that out too. I'll be at my parents and my FH at our home with our bridal parties. We'll all be about 20 minutes from the RH. I think I've decided that we'll get two limos to drop us off. Then I'm hoping for a van or larger limo to get all of us along with a few other friends back to my parents. I just don't want our closest friends and family to have to worry about driving. I'm sure it's going to be a lot of money for less than an hour of driving but hopefully it wil be worth it!

This was actually the topic of discussion this weekend at my parents house. I am getting ready at RH too, and so are all my girls, I might need a limo to get us from where we live to the RH with our dresses, which sounds totally ridiculous, but probably necessary.

I think it's really up to you. FH is from OOT so he's getting ready with his guys probably at a hotel and my house is about 25 min from the RH. We are getting a limo just for the girls and I to go from my house to the RH and then prob getting an old car to take pics with and drop FH and I off after the wedding. I think, as a bride you should have at least one limo to get you there and then arrange something for you and FH after the wedding. I think as long as your FH doesnt mind that he can get to the RH with his boys and family without a limo. but its up to you both!

I got a limo just to pick me up and take me to the RH. It took me and 2 BM's.
It probably wasn't necessary, but I didn't think I could get into a regular car with my dress. I got ready at the hotel. DH also got ready at the hotel, and drove with the photographers to the RH

We couldn't get ready there because there was a day wedding before our evening wedding, and we wanted as much time as possible to take pics.

I honestly don't remember who we used - I called around vendors on here and asked for price quotes, and just went with the cheapest. I did this about 2 weeks before the wedding.

My mom drove us back to the hotel after the wedding.

we didn't get limos. We got married at the hall. We wanted to use that money towards the party instead. We also stayed over night next to the hall. DH stayed at his moms the night before and i stayed at the hotel. we both got ready (in different rooms) at teh hotel and literally we walked to the hall- it was next door.

we have been back and forth about this also....we are both gonna be staying at a hotel like 10-15 minutes away...I feel like we would need something to take us to the RH but FH keeps saying to use the shuttles...i dunno we can't decide!

we only got one quote for a point a to point b pick up drop off, it was 500, but we also got quotes for 750 for three hours...id rather not have one at all then pay 500 for an hour... you have to get quotes and weight the pros and cons I think

I'm getting ready at RH, and will proabably just drive there with mom and sis. I'm just having all the girls meet us for pictures.

However, FH is going to take a limo with all his GMs from our apt in the city.

we did a pick up/drop off. i took an old RR limo from the hotel to the RH, and we had it for an extra hour to take some pics. then after the reception, we had a black limo come pick us up and bring us home. it wasn't too expensive, and it was the most convenient way for us to get around.

DH's parents brought him to the RH that morning, it was only myself and my MOHs/BM who took the RR to the RH.

We did a pick-up and drop off also. The limo took me and my girls from the hotel to the RH, then when the wedding was over me and DH took the limo back to the hotel. It's not nearly as much for that as for getting a limo for the whole day when you don't need it.
