My old doc said once a year, new one said every 7 months... but when I told her the other one let me go a year she said I could just do that

I go 2 x a year. My insurance covers twice a year so why not? Before this doc I had always gone once a year but I actually feel better about going twice a year now.

When I was on the pill my gyno had me come in once every 6 mos or else she would not renew my pill.

I go every 6 months as well. Pap smears and breast exam at both.

My friends think it's weird too since they only go once a year as well. I'd rather my doctor be more cautious.
