If you could go ANYWHERE in the world on your honeymoon, where would u?

FH and I are trying to pick our honeymoon spot. My parents are gracious enough to give us all their flyer miles and anything over they will pay so they said to pick any place in the world.
We don't want to spend a few days flying or traveling, but if its worth it we will.
Anyway, we can't decide!!!!!!!!!! Help!

I pretty much lived my dream honeymoon....
Tuscany, Lake Como (Northern Italian lakes region), and Switzerland.
I couldn't have planned it better and wouldn't want to change a thing!!!
ps - that's very generous of your parents! Have fun deciding!!!

FH really wants to go to East Africa - Kenya & Tanzania - it's very rich in history (athropogically speaking) and FH was an anthropolgy major - we wants to see the Serengheti, Olduvai Gorge, Ngonrongoro Crater, Zanzibar ...
If you are interested in a Safari a lot of people suggest South Africa as a great destination. They have beautiful beach areas, mountains, valleys, wineries, safari's, etc ... Most people go to South Africa when they Safari.
I have a few contacts in the NY area if you ever want information. Also, I believe Michele31 went to SA on her honeymoon.

Sage: I know I wonder if I should edit my post, but its generous in a strange way. We were supposed to go to Europe in collge together but my Dad got all old fashioned and said if we waited until we were married he would pay for the tickets. Well GUESS what! time has come and I am CALLING HIM ON IT!

Tahiti! It wasn't only just the money, but the fact that we are only going on a week honeymoon so with all the time to get to Tahiti, that'd be pretty much pointless.

We were going to go to Italy(that was my dream), but then FI brought up the point about sightseeing our entire honeymoon, so we went with Aruba so we could relax on our honeymoon(the whole time). After he brought that point up I totally agreed with him. On our honeymoon, I just want to relax. For our one year anniversary we are going to do the Italy trip.

Don't feel you have to edit your post!!! It's a wonderful thing they are doing and you should be thrilled!!! No reason to feel bad for having generous parents!!
I for one, know if my parents could have, they would have done the same thing!!!

If I had the money, I would tour the whole world for my honeymoon!! But since I don't we are just going to tour the United States for our honeymoon. Its a beginning!!!

That is soo nice of your parents to give your their flyer miles. My parents are doing that too. They sound very generous. We want to go to Hawaii, probably a cruise which we will pay for minus the airfare.

I think I'd go to Tahiti. There are many places in the world that I want to see more than that (Ive never been to Europe), but I don't want to do so much sightseeing on my honeymoon.

I am going to HI and paying alot but we know we'll never go again (or not in the forseeable future) so we decided to do it.
But my other choices would be
Bora Bora or Tahiti (just that I think i would get bored there) Alaska Northern Italy New Zealand Australia Prague Vienna

Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast -ahhhhh ...we're working on it ;)
PS- little Australia tidbit- yes, they DO have winter when we have summer, but their winters are VERY mild, I was in Australia & New Zealand for a month & depending on what area you're in it can be 60 degrees (Sydney & other cities)or 75-80 degrees (Great Barrier Reef)!!! L O N G flight (over 21 hrs.)but WORTH IT!!!
