If you could go to ANY of these locations, which would you choose?
Let's say you won a 3 day/2 night trip (like me.... ) and had to choose one of these places (regardless of the resort, just the LOCATION), which would you choose? FH and I have not been to any, the extent of our travels is in the US, except to Canada and St. Croix (him on drill w/ the military)

There are 8 choice, and only 6 options on the poll, the other 2 places are Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

If you're extending the trip, then lots of those locations sound great. Otherwise (if it will just be for a weekend), I'd choose PR for the close proximity.

I chose Cabo....
JMHO re: Puerto Plata.... beaches are horrible, if you decided on DR, then I would suggest Punta Cana.

I chose Cabo...it's where I wanted to go on my HM but it was too far.
Puerto Plata beaches are not horrible AT ALL...there are some gorgeous beaches there (Playa Dorada, Sosua, Cabarete) but it is on the Atlantic side of the sea, so it's not crystal clear Caribbean sea water (same with Cabo though, it's on the Pacific...most beaches in Cabo are not even swimmable). Punta Cana is on the Caribbean side (hence why the beaches are nicer, but it's too far from Puerto Plata, especially if you're only going for 3 days). Drawback to Cabo is expense (food)...but if they're paying for Air and Hotel...go for it!
