are you okay with your FH having female friends ? If so, if they called him consistently, would it both you?

You're not crazy. I trust FH but not other women, esp. single women who are miserable for happy couples. I stay clear.
ITA. I tell this to FH all the time. I totally trust him, but I definitely don't trust single women around him. Some women can be really shiesty, and could care less if a man is married.
I can't even count the many times I've gone into stores and restaurants where the women who work there openly flirt with him. I even had a waitress completely ignore me and would only talk to FH. You can imagine the daggers I was glaring her way.
As for female friends. I'm comfortable with them as long as they don't call him for a casual conversation. If they're just calling with computer questions, or for information on a place etc. I don't mind. In my mind, there is no reason for a women to be calling on a taken man unless she wants him.

This topic is fantastic. I always tell my fiance it's not you i don't trust, it's the single girl mentality. Most women would love to be in our positions (planning our weddings and completely in love). They want what we have and i'm not letting any girl i don't trust near my fiance. Believe me there are very few you can trust.

I'm not jelous of FH's femaile friends or acquaintances. I've never felt threatened or that it's an issue. Maybe it's because he keeps everything minimal. I have a best friend who is a guy and the lines have never been crossed. We're more like brother and sister. There's another guy friend I'm close to, but we don't keep in contact as much as my other male bff.
Maybe that's why FH's female acquaintances don't bother me..bc mine are so innocent.

FH doesn't have female friends. I mean we work together and there are girls at work we are both friendly with. But he never in his life had female friends that he would randomly call or email just to say hi.

I don't think it's very possible for men and women to be close friends without something developing. I think in the past I was more open to it and thought it was harmless, but as I got older, I saw far too many things go wrong with friends in such situations. It is cool to have people of the opposite sex to talk to.. or to have couples as friends... but to have you or your husband have someone of the opposite sex that they are exclusively close with is a big no-no to me.
FH has kept a lose email relationship with his first girlfriend that he dated for years in high school..she is married and pregnant and since they don't see each other or talk.. I am okay with it. Although I prefer he not bother with her at all.
