Did you make an announcement when you did it, or did you just give them out privately?

We had an announcement and gave them all out together. We had to for our guys gifts and explain about them being used for the wedding.

I think I'll give out there gifts infront of everyone. They are all getting the same thing. A bag with knick nacks in it.

im giving mine out just towards the end of the night. Im not going to do it in front of everyone or making it a spectacle. I think that weird to do that. who wants to to be quiet while I hand out my gifts for an hr.

This is what we plan on doing too. They are all different gifts, but that didn't factor in one way or the other.

I was also wondering if it is typical to say a little something, when giving out the bridal party gifts. I think it would be a nice gesture, to formally thank everyone, but I am not sure where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions?
