i just got married in november, so i haven't completed the entire timeline yet. but here's what i have done already:
-- Wedding date? - 11-04-06 -- Get proofs? - online proofs only 12-04-06 -- Give chosen pics for albums? - Photog created a sample album for us when he sent us the online proofs on 12-04-06, we just picked out pictures we wanted to replace, add, delete. Met with him on 01-05-06 to discuss the changes we wanted. -- Go over digital layout? First time 01-05-06; Waiting for him to give us the updated layout with our requested changes. -- Get final book? Pending

have you asked your photographer what the usual timeframe is? they will know better than anyone here. i've noticed the amount of time it takes to get stuff back varies drastically from one photographer to the next.

Yes, I did but I don't really remember what he said but I know I was happy with whatever he said and so I didn't pay much attention. He did not follow through though with his other time frames like he said 2 weeks for proofs and it was more like 4 and then 10 days to get thank yous and it was more than 2 weeks so I feel like now that he is paid he doesn't have to rush now. Its been 2 months since I gave him my final order and I have not heard a word from him about my digital layout which I thought I would go over with him within 2 months time...I just don't want to be a nag if this is normal time frame...

Get proofs? we got our proofs 2 weeks after our wedding Give chosen pics for albums? we chose pics and handed the list into the photographer 2 months after the wedding Go over digital layout? the digital layout was emailed to me about 2 weeks after that Get final book? I got our album about 7 weeks after we handed the list to the photographer - close to 4 months after our wedding.

Wedding date? 7/7/06
Got proofs? after my honeymoon within 2 weeks( hm was 2 weeks) from wedding date
Give chosen pics for albums?gave pics in Aug.
Go over digital layout? 2 weeks after that
Get final book? about 2-3 weeks from when i went over digital layout
