what vendors would you book or RH would you choose? What things would you include in your wedding that you might have to take out now because of cost?

Or would you not change anything

The Crecent Beach Club with out even looking at any other RH's but I actually was very happy and loved the Venetian...

as far as other vendors i prob just would have added more to packages and stuff like that.

I would splurge for all the stationery (invites, thank you's, escort cards, menus, programs) to be letterpress. We're having thermograph invites/thank yous and flat do it yourself printing on the rest. Definitely NOT worth the money, but it would be my dream splurge!

i would have a band AND a DJ. i really wanted a band...FH wanted a DJ, and since it was cheaper that is what we are getting.

id also just worry less about budget which would be sweeeet!

I would've had it either at The Foundry (though it's a little small for our purposes), Stage 6 at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn, or in Tribeca Rooftop. More than likely, Tribeca Rooftop.

I also would've had a live band rather than a DJ and a cigar roller. And uplighting! (though I'm still holding out hope for uplighting!)

If I had unlimited money I would still choose the same reception hall, dress, and video. I picked expensive places anyway with my budget, it just means I have to cut corners on the things that aren't so important.

I wouldn't cut corners on flowers, dj, etc. - which is what I'm planning to do.

I would have had the same vendors and RH except for one, but that's also bec I wasn't happy with one...I would have had a DOC AND a wedding planner to help plan and get things done...and added the raw seafood bar to CH...heck, I would have extended CH to 1 1/2 hours! I would have had favors and did a donation (we did a donation). Oh well...(sigh). Even without these things it was still a great day !! : pointysmile:

I originally wanted to book Angelica Glass for photography...she was waaaaay out of our price range. But I love our photographers now and I wouldn't trade them.

I'd probably add a lot of stuff on to the RH....raw bar, carving stations, etc....and the viennese hour too...but I wouldn't change the RH because I love it.

Maybe I would have gotten a different dress...because I would have looked at everything that caught my eye, not just what was in my budget...and I probably wouldn't have stumbled upon my dress because I wouldn't have gone to the salon I did and my dress is a discontinued sample.

i think i would have looked at many more reception halls and although i love mine, i wouldve chosen another one probally. i wouldve also definately had a 2nd reception just for friends in the city, something really chic and upscale.

photography- i would deifinately have looked around much more, outside of my current budget, love Angelica Glass

flowers- i would stay with the same florist, Flower Michele but just have a million more flowers and different things going on with decor.

honeymoon- omg, the possibilities are endless, deinfately Italy, Greece, Spain, France...and definately Hawaii, Fjii, etc. (ahhhh to dreammm)

i cant go anymore or ill get depressed ,lol

I'd probably have RH at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers or the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens-- we loved both but were out of our price range!

If I had more $$ I would have loved to have our wedding at the Woodlands in September...but we got such a great deal at crest hollow and could only do a winter wedding with our schedules so I'm still very happy with our choice!!

I also would have looked at Angelica Glass photography.

I would have rented the gold chivari ballroom chairs first and foremost. I would have splurged on the gold rimmed glassware. I would have had my photographer for like 4 more hours. OH!!! THE WHITE BENTLEY!!!! Totally would have rented the white Bentley for me and DH to cruise around in!!

My turn:

I would have David Tutera as my wedding planner with Lisa my planner now by his side. I Love David but Lisa is also awesome. So two planners. I would have hired Penny Lane for video I love Adam's work. I would definately hire Angelica Glass.

I would so change my venue in a heartbeat...not that I don't love my hall but I originally wanted Oheka Castle but it was .

I would get the CP's I really want. I would hire a band and performers. lol

but then reality sets in and I can't have these things so I have to find great vendors within my budget. In the end I thing I made a good decision and picked good vendors so we will see 9 months from now when I write my review

I would have a huge tent wedding with all the coordinated details and gorgeous draping and decor...
I would have a fireworks display.

I would not change my Rh I actually love it! iIwould book 3 week hm in Europe, and add a bunch of stuff to my Ch and add on an extra half hour to my RH
