I would:

Rent chiavari chairs (my hotel uses those ugly banquet chairs--blech!)
Hire a lighting company
Upgrade my flowers

I would spend it on our honeymoon.

I would have booked the Greek Islands instead of Mexico for our Honeymoon.

I'd fly in my Grandfather from FL and my Uncle, Aunt, and three cousins who can't afford to make the trip down from upstate NY......it's a shame b/c they really raised me from the time I was about 6 till I was 13 or so---my mom was single and had to work two or three jobs to support us......and now they can't make it b/c their funding is short--I would use whatever money I had fly them in from upstate NY or even pay for a cab ride down from Elmira. If only I had an extra $1500 laying around!! I'd love to have them at my wedding....

I would have
a)booked the bigger room and invited more people

b)gotten a MUCH better photographer and package

c) done more with the flowers

d)if any was left over, spent it on the honeymoon
ed: 2 or 3 weeks instead of one

hmmm... I think i'd spend it on the honeymoon or put it towards our rings. I would love to be able to go on a honeymoon and not worry about the money!

I probably would have a different answer for each day of the week.

Right now I am thinking:

trumpeteers at the entrance

day after brunch

additional wedding bands for FH and I--so we
can change styles as we change clothes.

and FH wants me to get an expensive watch, to wear that day and after!

I think that's way over 10K already!!!!!

I would have invited friends instead of just family. And spend on our HM.

Ummm, I actually have an extra $10,000. (a gift). I can honestly say I am not spending it on the wedding. It is going into a CD to save for a house.

Although if FH doesn't get with the savings program it might be going to simply pay for the wedding, and not be something extra at all.

1. Day of Coordinator
2. Viennese Hour
3. Saturday night instead of Friday
4. Calypso band for cocktail hour.

All of the above are the things we decided to cut out and we are still spending a ton more than we originally thought we would.
