Are you dying shoes or looking for Ivory shoes? I really don't want to have to dye them

I dyed my shoes ivory. I bought them at Craft shoes in Commack. they were not a perfect match but no one noticed and I took them off for the reception anyway.

no, thank goodness
they were nothing to 'write home about'! I wanted comfort, which I didn't really get. because DH and I spent hours before the ceremony taking pics they started hurting my feet early on in the day. IMO, don't stress too much about the shoes and just go for comfort.
here is a pic of them from the dyeables website:

VARONES SHOES IN SAYVILLE HAS IVORY MADE SHOES, THEY ARE CALLED SALON SHOES. YOU CAN LOOK THEM UP ON THEIR WEBSITE. ALSO, MY SHOES ARE SALON SHOES, AND POSTED ON MY ALBUM I MAY GET DIFFERENT ONES THOUGH
I dyed my shoes from white to off-white. I could have bought them in ivory, but they would have been too yellow for my dress.

I fell inlove with my shoes and they are dyable.
My dress came in and I went to see it with my shoes. The shoes are fine therefore I don't have to get them dyed.
Wait till you see your dress.
Good luck.

I have the same problem. But I think I have a solution. I was looking for shoes for bm and the same shoes I picked for them could work for me. Open toes off white. not exact but close enough.

I am not dying my shoes. THey make Ivory shoes, I have seen them. I am not too worried if they are not a perfect match.

Kathleen bring a swatch of you dress with you when you go shoe shopping. sometimes white silk is a little off white, and matches if full ivory is too dark.
also, if you have any metallic accents (either silver or gold) you could go with a metallic colored shoe (like Hollie with her cute silver Nina's)
I was even debating about baby blue shoes lol- could be my something blue.
I am going to exhaust all options before opting to dye. HTH.

Hell...NO!
My shoes were given to me from a WONDERFUL LIW bride! They were white. I went through months of this debate in my head when finally...time ran out. In one light it was a perfect match...in another it was very noticable...but you know what...not one person noticed...and here's a pic....I can't really tell a difference.

I dyed them, but it honestly didn't matter b/c I don't think anyone saw my shoes. Most dresses are altered so that they are barely above the ground. I wouldn't worry if they don't exactly match. You could probably wear sneakers underneath your dress and no one would notice.

I bought dyable shoes and I am just going to wait until I get my dress so that I can decide if I am going to dye them. There are so many different shades of ivory.
