I am totally upset this morning. I live in DC and grew up and all my family is on long island. We're having the wedding on Long island because both of our families are there. So my fiance purchased a matching wedding band set when we got engaged. We gave my parents my wedding band to put in their safety deposit box so we knew it wouldn't be forgotten in DC before the wedding. That was in March and now its August and the wedding is in October. I asked them to see the ring to show how it is similiar to my FH's. They can't find it and now it's lost. The part that is killing me is the sentimental attachment i had to it. Andy proposed and then he was all excited to show me the wedding band and for me to see what he had written inside it and everything. I think about that and I just start to cry. I know my parents are searching like crazy for it, and i can't flip out, but I am just besides myself.

After almost a week of praying to St. Anthony keeping my fingers crossed...My ring is found!!!! Thank God!! So wedding planning is back to normal and now my parents just want to fight over the menu!
Thanks for your concern....it helped me make it through that day. The thought of not using the ring was heartbreaking to me.

I was thinking of this thread as I took my ring off today to put lotion on .... congrats! Where was it, if you don't mind telling???
It was supposed to be in my parents safety deposit box until the wedding. Some how it ended up in their television cabinet?????? I don't even want to think about how it got there of all places.
