I just asked my DH this question and he said that he's want me to be buried with it. I said, more than likely, it wouldn't go down with me. He said, I'd make sure it went down with you. Then he said, I wouldn't really be worried about the ring...I would just be hurting over you and how alone I'd be...

i said my sister. we have grown together and are so close. we have been through so much together and that is something that i think she deserves, and pass along. i know the fh has everything else that i own.

My ring has 3 stones so I would give the big one to my sister and have her make the 2 smaller stones into necklaces or rings for her 2 daughters.

You need to tell you MIL that it is OK to have unspoken thoughts....
I would want my DH to have my E-ring, since he gave it to me, but my wedding band was my mom's and I would like it to be passed down to my niece.

My dh will have the money but if we both die My sister andher huband i call him my brother. and Dh's brother& his wife will split the money amongs themselves.

My initial reaction was to say to bury me with it, but you can't bury people with jewelry in the Jewish religion. I'd want my DH to have it.

My first thought would be to give it to DH, but I think it may be too much of a painful reminder to him. I think I would consider giving it to my sis since she is ten years younger and we no longer have a mom. It would be a fitting thing to do. I think it would be something my DH would want.
