If you're only wearing a veil and no headpiece...
do you need to bring the veil to your hair trials? I know how I want my hair, but wondered if I should bring my veil--its long and it might be a pain to bring, or even worse, could get dirty. Can I get away with just bringing a picture of where to pace it over the hair-do?

I'm only wearing a veil - no headpiece. If I have the veil before my trial then I will bring it...if I don't have it yet, I won't worry about it. I think b/c it's just on a comb, its not that big of an issue to have the trial with it.

Re: If you're only wearing a veil and no headpiece...
I didn't wear a headpiece and I didn't bring my veil to the hair trial - it was way too long and neither myself nor Tarale was comfortable with lugging it around. We discussed where I'd like it...she put it in the day of.
I wouldn't stress it too much - I would just have an idea and then your stylist should be able to help you with it the day of.

I'm not wearing a headpiece either. I asked one of the girls I'm having a trial with and she told me to bring it...

It can't hurt to bring it if you have it

I know what you mean. I have a long veil that's just attahed to a comb. I brought mine and it was annoying. I have my hair pulled back in a bun and the comb is just going to sit on top of it. I'll have to attach the veil myself on my wedding day anyway....so I think you'll be fine just showing her a picture.

Re: If you're only wearing a veil and no headpiece...
I just had a hair trial and beforehand, I bought a $15 veil that is similar in length to the one I will eventually be using (haven't found the right one yet). I had my hair stylist use the stand-in veil when she put my hair up.I found it helpful to have the stand-in veil because I wanted a French twist but was worried it would get messed up if I wanted to take my veil off after the ceremony. The hair stylist showed me that I can have the French twist and a veil with no problems.
So I don't think you have to have one with you, but you could consider buying a cheap stand-in veil if you don't want to bring yours to the trial.

thanks girls! all kinds of advice there. i think i'll try the first trial withuot it, and if i go on and do more trials see how i feeln about needing it. the hairstyle i want is a low bun type 'do so its fairly simple and straightforward. thanks again for the advice!Welcome New Vendors
