If you saw another bride on 'your' day

My sister is gettting married and were talking about what if while you were at your reception hall, or anywhere else, if you would get mad if you saw another bride.

My sister said she would be pretty upset because her RH promised her that they do meitculous scheduling to ensure this doesn't happen.

Personally, I wouldn't care at all. The Swan Club has 3 rooms fairly close together and I am sure that while I am doing my things I will see people from the other 2 events. And while taking photos there I may see the other brides. I would probably wave to them and say 'congratulations' or something, but I wouldn't get mad.

How would you react?

I don't think I would be mad. I would say 'Congrats' and be happy for the other bride.

i feel the same exact way, there are like thousands of people that get married every day! you have to expect that you will see another bride if your RH does more than 1 wedding at a time.... if you dont, your being unrealistic

I booked a hall that does one wedding at a time...If i had a hall that had more than one wedding at a time I would probably just say hi to the other bride...I wouldnt like seeing her, but i wouldnt be angry.

BUT with my hall, if the bride from the afternoon wedding before me doesnt vacate by the time she is supposed to then I will be mad...She will mess up our timeline and throw off the entire timeframe of the evening. But that is a totally different situation than just bumping into another bride...

I am going to be totally honest here, I prob would feel a bit wierd, as said earlier this is my day and I don't wanna see someone else in a wedding dress. Not that I would be mad at all and of course I would congratulate her, but I just think it would be wierd.

I wouldnt be mad....as long as the other BP doesnt get in the way of our picture taking at the hall thats probably my biggest fear in terms of having more than 1 event at a time.

i wouldn't want to run into another bride...im supposed to be the only bride on my day, but i have to be realistic....the watermill does 2 weddings at a time, and as of now i dont know if the other room is booked, but if it does get booked, there WILL be another bride around.

however, if the other bride is there shooting her photos at the same time as me, and her BP and photog distracts things going on for me, THEN i will get mad!

otherwise, the watermill has separate bathrooms for each party, and they said the only time ppl would cross paths is whoever goes outside to smoke...and i dont so no problem there!!

Well said, and although the watermill does have 2 weddings @ a time. I asked this specific question before I booked and they told me that the bridal attendants wear headsets and keep trackof where the brides are at all times so that they could prevent this from happening!

No, I wouldn't get aggravated at all. I booked a place that does more than one wedding at a time. I'd be happy to see another bride on my day... but if she gets in the way of my timeline I'll go bridezilla on her a$$!

I have a date and rh twin on this site. NYYankeegirl72. I'm kinda looking forward to running into her on that day. I think It would be cool. I would love to congratulate her and wish her marriage well. These things don't bother me personally.

I would not be upset at all. I just realized that 'Lsorrent' is my date & hall twin! We are both getting married on June 5, 2010 at the North Ritz Club. I am the morning bride. As she had wrote, if we happened to see eachother I would also say hello & congratulations - and be on my way! Although, I really am not expecting for us to run into each other since my wedding will be over at 6 pm. The NRC has only 1 wedding at a time. But, its great to know that we share the same place & date! I always enjoy to see another NRC bride!!
