would you prefer a seating chart, place cards or if possible both. I want it to be different. Our families and friends alway see place cards.

LOL mine too! He's from a family of cops so he's convinced everyone on this board is a crazy criminal & I should avoid any get together....funny how much he likes the board when it gets me off his back about wedding details!

I went to a wedding once with a seating chart - and I liked it!!! It's different, and people will remember it more then place cards JMO Good Luck

at my wedding we will have place cards. fh's fam is not very bright and will just give up and sit wherever they want. i voted for place cards, yes, they are not a big things at weddings anymore, but find unusal ones and make it your own.

If I'm not mistaken...ur homework from the hall a week before usually if not more, is to do the seating...and u write up ur place cards, and do a seating chart for the hall...this way if a place card gets misplaced...a guest can ask someone on staff for help and they'll know..
