If your shower is a surprise, how do you plan an outfit?
Do you put together like, a bridal shower kit with dress, shoes, etc. and give it to one of your BMs? Any ideas?

I asked my mom, moh, and fh, that whatever the alibi is for getting me there, please make sure it's something I'm in a dress and heels for..

That's a good idea - however, I know I'll figure it out and I want it to be a total surprise! LOL! I see pics of girls on here all of the time who show up to their shower in like, jeans and a sweatshirt and then in all the pictures, they're sportin' these cute dresses!

i just gave my mom the dress, etc. and told her to bring it with her to the place and i can change when i get there!

A lot of people will give a dress and shoes to their BM or mother or whoever to keep.. Then all you have to worry about is hair and makeup... In that case maybe you should be all gussied up even if you are going to the supermarket just to be on the safe side! That was my plan and then I got lazy!

Ha ha I know!! I told my mom and fh at dinner tonight, that pretty much every weekend in the 12 weeks leading to the wedding I will be dressed just in case......

i picked out an outfit before hand and gave it to my sister and she took care of the rest, bringing makeup, stockings, etc.

My mom ordered a dress from Banana that I picked out. So she is going to bring the dress a pair of shoes I have and love. So excited :)

My MOH told me that starting april 1st until june 1st i should make sure I have my hair done every weekend and have my out fit ready... for anything... dinner...a show...my shower.... youll never know.. I just laughed at her!

Mine was a surprise today and I had an outfit all picked out that I gave to one of my BM's awhile ago...she brought it today to the shower I just changed after I got there and said hi to everyone!

My Mom and BP told me to have hair and make up done on all weekends in April & May AND my dress and shoes are at my aunt's house so they will bring it w/ them and I'll change there.

un like what most brides are doing I told my mom t o keep everything a surprise the date and all b ut the day before to be like tomorrow is the day. I want to make sure my brows are done, my toes are done did and my hair and make up as well. I have been known to look like a mess at times

My MOH told me to give my dress to FH... so I don't know if he is going to be the one to bring me there. I hate not knowing... But I still have no shoes yet

I have no plan. lol I'l probably look like a mess. I guess most girls that are being surprised tend to also dress up for every event they go to not knowing when it's happening. lol

I'm just planning to look presentable every time I go out for anything! I don't want to have to change into an outfit and I want to have ZERO idea it's coming ... so I'm hoping FH will be really creative in where we are supposedly 'going' so that I won't be wearing jeans and flip flops. But I'm sure I'll be OK!

My mom told me I had to be dresses nice and look my best from now until the wedding so they can surprise me. I know the one day i wear sweats will be the day of my shower. LOL

If it is a surpirse, then whatever I am wearing I'm wearing. I wanted it to be a surprise bc it is one less thing I want to worry about so I am not going to worry about having a back up outfit! It will be interesting to see what I am wearing!
