If your wedding budget was cut in half...

We always do the whole 'if you had an infinite budget' thread so I'm wondering the reverse - if you only had half of your budget, what would you change or cut out?

I would get married in a more 'off' month (I thought October was off season - turns out its just as expensive as summer! ) in the same place and chose a less expensive limo.

I would keep the place as it is my best deal but cut the guest list even more to immediate family and closest of friends, try and i do stress try, more DIY projects and maybe no harpist

I would have to change my RH or do a buffet serving to bring the price down per person, take some things off my dj package.

Or just elope

Backyard wedding! I kind of want that anyway... I like that cozy feeling... and my mom cooks better than anyone I know

Move to idaho? lolz..half my budget would be $10,000...I don't know what I would do?

Maybe keep my RH, and see if fam and friends could help me with DIY CPs, Bo-ks, Invites ..and then I'd tell everyone to please, please, please take a ton of pics and send them to me via snapfish lolz..make a playlist on my ipod and hook it up to some speakers...

I think that covers most of the stuff...

Get the nicest and cheapest wedding bands, do away with the honeymoon, no flower CPs, no albums for photo. I'm already getting married at a great cost on an off day!!!

I would just forget the whole wedding and just get married at city hall.......if I can't have the big dream wedding I want ---I'm a BRAT ----and wouldn't want anything at all.
