My soon to be mil went back to sloan today she had small cell lung cancer.

Her tumor shrunk 80% which is fantastic and he said she is doing wonderful.

He also told her that the type of cancer she has never goes away--so she can live 10 years but she'll always have some of the cancer.

I wish I knew whether the dr. was being honest or sugar coating things.

i feel terrible for FH and I think it is all starting to hit me now.

Please continue to pray for my fmil Pat.

Thank you so much for the optimistic responses and the prayers.

I know everything will work out its just so hard to stay positive sometimes.

her attitude is amazing though! she's such a strong woman!

People don't die from cancer. THey live with it!!!!! That aside, your FH is under a lot of stress right now. This is difficult.......be there for him.....

we've become so close to our future mil and fil's that whenever something is wrong with one, we both feel it even though im sure its worse for him.

him, his sister, her husband and i made a pact to keep each other strong!
