I'm a homeowner!!!

WooHoo.

Closed on my co-op yesterday. Moving in on Saturday. It will be so nice not to rent anymore.

I'm just glad it is all over with. This whole process was stressing me out big time

it is in Bayside, NY, and I don't have pics yet but will post some when we move in.

Anyone looking to buy a property can FM me because I had a great real estate agent. She was on top of everything and without her we never would have gotten this place. She even gave me a gift at the closing.

I would actually recommend EVERYONE i worked with on my side. My lawyer and mortgage consultant were also wonderful. Too bad the seller was not more cooperative and her real estate agent and lawyers were tools.

So, if any of you are looking to buy, I will be more than happy to recommend my 'dream team'. My real estate agent said she would help with any property anywhere on Long Island.

Update: I've been in the new place for 2 nights now. It is so quiet I am loving it. No annoying upstairs neighbor stomping around @ 3am. No annoying upstair neighbor complaining if we've left a light on, have a TV too loud, etc.

This morning was the worst though because I went to feed the cats and saw ants in the cat bowl. I was freaking out. I woke up Fh and asked him to deal with it because I had to go to work. I am so incredibly upset about the whole thing. Who gets ants in January, on the second floor?

No annoying person that can hear what you do!!!!!!!

I dont think ants are like seasonal... i think if you leave food or whatever out they come (if you build it they will come lol sorry i had to)
