another update - I love love love my new home.
For the past 3 night I have not been woken up by people stomping, jumping, shouting, or anything! The only thing that woke me up was my cat looking for affection at 3am. I used to wake up 3 or 4 times a night because the guy upstairs was sooooo inconsiderate and I am a light sleeper.
I just hope we are being quiet enough for the people downstairs from us. I have met them and they seem nice. After we are all donw moving the furniture I will go down there with a tray of cookies and thank them for being so nice!
