I'm a little disappointed...

It wasn't in our budget to have an evening wedding. FH and I booked our wedding for the afternoon and the RH told us that, if no one else booked the evening by the end of December, we could push our wedding off to a twilight. At first, I kept my hopes wayyy down because I thought, 'there's no chance this will happen.' I ordered my invitations the other day and my mother called the RH just to see if anyone had booked (she has been calling every month and each month we became a little more hopeful that this would actually happen). Lo and behold, someone booked between this month and last. I know I have no right to be upset because it was never promised to us, but it would have been nice. I know it's still going to be an amazing day but I'm a little disappointed.

aww im sorry to hear that happend! but i would be a little dissapointed to so i know exactly how you feel.. honestly if money was a major issue for us where we had to keep a real budget for the wedidng we wouldnt be able to have a saturday night either because yesss the pricing between the noon or night or even saturday and sunday is a HUGE difference and i just couldnt believe what a big difference in money it would be.. but of course we had to have the saturday night, so that wasnt even an option!! =] thank god money wise we are ok and able to or else honestly we would have to have it on a sunday or noon time because we are paying sooooo soooo much for a saturday night, its crazy.. but oh well its our wedding day and its what we want and only happens once so thats how im looking at it.. but dont worry either way your day will be GREAT and beautiful and amazing! =] no matter the time of day!

Don't even worry about it!! I've been to MANY daytime weddings, and they're just as good as the nighttime ones. And the best thing about the day wedding is, you get more celebration hours than the nighttime girls. After the wedding, have an after party! It can go on for hours! Just go somewhere, take over the bar, dress and ALL, and enjoy!!

Thanks girls! You're making me feel much better! I know it'll be great and the after party at the hotel will be even more fun! I've never actually been to a daytime wedding but I'm sure they're just as fun!

Thanks girls! I knew you would understand! I know the wedding will still be incredible! I told FH that I was a little disappointed (I'm not over here crying or anything, it's not that serious lol) and he practically yelled at me saying that I should have never gotten my hopes up.

Awww! I'm sorry Bonnie! Your wedding will be amazing no matter what time it is! And think of it this way.... you could still extend the party to a Hotel or Bar if people aren't done partying yet!

dont listen to him, haha! guys sometimes are dumb and dont know how to react and make us feel even more dissapointed, but thats the typical guys for ya =P haha.. as much as they annoy us with that behavior, we love them and cant live without them and this is why we are marrying them right?? haha!!

PS: your day will just be as amazing and beautiful remember that! and if you are planning on having that after party at the hotel dont even worry a thing about this because you will have a party for a wholeeeeeee entire day and it will be amazing!!!! =] where as us kind of girls who are having a night affair starting at like 7 pm only have the hall till like 1 am (like i do!) and than by the time you get out of there and go to the hotel you dont want to party cause its soo late and your exhausted, so you actually have it better than us if you think about it! =] more partyingggggg!

I am sorry that your disappointed. I would feel the same way and kinda do. I always wanted a Saturday in June or July but I am settling for Friday night in early may. Either way- once your there and in the moment- it won't matter what time, day or year it is- the only thing that will matter is you and him- TOGETHER Stay positive
